This week’s best beauty Instagrams revolved around holographic eye makeup and endless hair transformations. And with the return of colorful lashes and the razor-sharp bob, beauty is feeling adventurous. Maybe it’s the lack of venturing out to socialize that has experimentation at an all-time high?

Gen Z artist Jenny Cha, who caught our attention after creating over 70 dazzling hairstyles, from cow print to purple finger waves, took to Instagram to reflect on the creative process of growing out a buzz cut while showing off her latest look—a lavender mullet with periwinkle highlights. Elsewhere, British rapper Little Simz let her dreads down in a chunky two-strand twist that amped up the volume, looking casually regal thanks its golden cuff accents, while beauty blogger Hamdiya showed us how to achieve the perfect Afro-textured bouffant.

As for makeup, Brazilian singer Anitta didn’t hold back while promoting her new single, “Boy’s Don’t Cry.” With a pinky nude lipstick and generously applied blush, she sported silver flame decor around the eye to make for sizzling, mega cat-eye that’s both sexy and tough. The Y2K space buns and dominatrix-esqe bustier were just the cherry on top. Meanwhile, makeup artist Jenna Kristina decided to pair Megan Fox’s fiery nails, painted by [Brittney Boyce],(https://www.instagram.com/nails_of_la/)) with a bright orange shadow placed in the inner corner of the eye—a pop of color that makes for a fun, yet wearable day-to-day look. Below, find more of the best beauty Instagrams of the week.
